请教大律师，如果小偷在店里行窃，当场人赃剧获。店方是否有权扣留小偷，等待警察来处理？谢谢

可以报警，如果很短时间，你可以use reasonable force to force the theif to give up the stolen goods. 但是不可以囚禁对方，一般警方不会很快到的情况，you can follow the theif while calling the police to inform the person's whereabouts.
