An excellent opportunity exists for a Chinese Interpreter to join a vibrant Operations Team in the industry of Livestock Export. This Casual Contract position involves interstate and international travel.
Based in Christchurch the successful candidate will be predominately working in South Island with opportunities in North Island and even further in Australia.
This Casual Contract role offers frequent work between 2 – 10 days per month initially, with opportunities to join the team as a full time employee in future.
You will be required to represent our Global Trading Company to assist in a customer service role in addition to data entry duties as required.
Assisting our Chinese clients in the selection of livestock (cattle) mainly in New Zealand, you will be well presented and willing to exceed customer expectations .
Working for a leading New Zealand exporter of livestock with head office in Australia, operating through an extensive network of supply and market focused offices across the globe; the successful candidate will ideally possess the following:
Proficiency in both English & Chinese (translation and interpretation)
Strong attention to detail and capacity to ensure all paperwork complies with Industry Standards
Current Drivers Licence
Excellent personal presentation and a positive outlook
Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills
Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills;
The successful candidate will be prepared to travel interstate at times and expected to work nights and weekends when required.
Christchurch based, the successful candidate will be flexible in days and nights contracted and rewarded with remuneration commensurate with experience.
