请问一下Te Atatu Peninsula 那边属于几A区或者叫什么（对西区不太了解）
这边的大概都是多少能分割的~各位觉得这区以后涨势怎样~

半岛基本上两个zone, 东边沿海的开发区是Living Environment, 350+ m2 / per site, 中,北,西部老区是 Living 1 Environment, 400+ m2 / per site.

18号高速和20号高速连通, 高速的扩宽, 新轮渡码头都是利好消息.

买半岛就考虑自住或者中长期投资, 先阶段租金回报一般.

Te Atatu 半岛和 South都很不错的, 看好这两个区, West Harbour可惜太远,在那边工作的话还行

俺家两套房子都在这个区，非常安静，可以步行到海边，交通也很方便，不错的区，所以我们买第二套房的时候也没有考虑其他地方就还在半岛买了。

在半岛住了2年了，环境很不错。公共交通不是特别的好，不过从下周开始会有些改善了。

Date: From Sunday 13 October
Location: Te Atatu Peninsula
A new timetable will be in be in place for routes 048, 049 and121 from Sunday 13 October.
The following changes will apply:

More morning and afternoon express services

Change from 1 express to 3 express severics for morning and afternoon peak hours traffic.

More Monday to Friday services between Henderson and Te AtatuPeninsula
Route 122 will be replaced with route 049
Services via Patiki Rd will be discontinued

I think someone said Te Atatu Peninsula is not good....a few month back..he said there are a lot hnz there? or something like that.... can anyone tell me wich part is good which part is bad???

"SOMEONE SAID" is not your own first-hand experience!

Come to the peninsula this weekend, drive around, and walk around, get a feel of it, ask local agents about this market, find out which kind of people are currently trying hard to get into this suburb, talk to local residents, ask them about the area and anything you want to know.

Find out the locations of the local supermarket, schools, kindergartens, hardware store, medical centre, medical lab, dentist, vet, hair salons, cafes, restaurants, fruit & vege shops, garages, petrol stations, parks and walkways etc.

Count how many schools, kindergartens, parks, cafes, restaurants, fruit & vege shops, hair salons, garages and petrol stations in the area!

Find out how many sport clubs do they have here!!
See what kind of water sports you can play here!!! Rowing, sailing, kayaking, kite surfing, paddle boarding etc...

Do not just believe what I say here!
Come around and spend some time here!!
Keep an open mind, observe, discover, ask questions and just keep digging!!!

You might be surprised with your findings!

Someone also said elsewhere is not good in AKL. Someone also said you should not buy a house. Someone said plaster is OK to buy. Someone said the world should have ended last year.

It is still in feasibility study phase so it won't be in there in the next 10 years I think. A bus interchange is more possible in the next 3-5 years , but it is currently on-hold after the consultation phase.

There are two options for the proposed Te Atatu ferry terminal:
Option1: Make use of the existing Te atatu boating club facilities on the southern side of the motorway
Option2: Create a new site in the peninsula, on the northern side of the motorway, where it has an easier access to the deep water channel

Option1 will cost less but it requires increased parking space, as the existing parking is tight sometimes even just for the boating people. Also the ferry size will be limited as it has to be able to go thru the motorway bridge at high tide.

Option2 will be costly, but it has the potential to give Te Atatu better ferry terminal services, in term of the size of the ferry, the parking, views and the bus interchange arrangements. Personally I like option2!

Yes, Local MP and the planners are talking about having a ferry to downtown. However, the ferry cannot travel a straight line to the city, as it has to travel along the deep water channel!

If the ferry (or a boat) travels from Te Atatu to the city in a straight line at low tide, it likely to hit the Meola reef!!!

I think "Te Atatu ferry" is at the public discussion/consultation stage, but it is back on council's agenda.

Late last year there was a community meeting on this topic. Labour's Transport spokesperson, and MP for Te Atatu, Phil Twyford, gives a presentation on the possibility of a commuter ferry for Te Atatu. The deputy mayor Penny Hulse and Auckland transport planners were at the meeting as well.

Phil Twyford is a strong advocate for the Western busway, Te Atatu ferry and Te Atatu bus interchange. He is getting the community behind him to push the council to put these things on the agenda.

By the way, I am National voter. I gave my party vote to National, but local MP vote to Phil Twyford, as I believe Phil has the drive and ability to get some good things done for Te Atatu community.

Is it still at feasibility study phase? Really?
Vote for Phil Twyford as local MP next year, and ask him to push the council harder to turn thid ferry thing into a reality.
