标题: CS280还是CS340？读过这两门的朋友进来说说吧 [打印本页]

我下个学期打算选COMPSCI 335，INFOSYS 322，eco151g，剩下一门不知道选COMSPCI 340好还是COMPSCI 280好
有读过这两门的课的童鞋可以说一下这两门课的难度么？我对OS有兴趣，但是据说CS340是stage 3最难的课，我345已经挂了，怕再挂多一门。280看上去似乎很有用，但是看了一下lecture notes似乎简单过头，虽然我怕挂科但是毕竟还是想学到点东西，所以个人是偏向于340的，请问读过340的童鞋，这门课读出来用处大不大？跟280相比如何？

下學期讀CS280, 335, eco151G, 我345也掛了..握個手...340是OS類的, 如果你喜歡linux, 喜歡OS, 你可以讀, 如果你讀個351就不要讀280了, 280我看了slides也覺得有點簡單, 不過340我有朋友讀過, 功課挺難的, 因為都是底層編程, 不過能讀出來會比280有用多了, 你沒讀351, 讀280也會比較有用, 出來工作后不多不少的也會有點數據庫的內容(從SE學長出來工作后的感想), 340內容很變態, 但是有用, 要背很多,記憶要強, 這個也是看個人的, 很多人說340難, 但是如果你喜歡OS, 你可能不會覺得難, 有人說320很難, 但是我認識人說320不難....

i have heard from the lecturer, cuz when i got D+ i went straight from city to tamaki campus, and he said they pick the passing point to assign if that student pass or not, for example, the paper can be 45-50 is C-, or 55-60 is C-, its all depends on how the course pick the passing point, therefore, so many people fail this time, maybe because of the scale down? this is what he said when i met him in tamaki campus
i am taking CS314 next sem btw...
