A bright light was reported speeding across New Zealand skies on Monday.
A number of people reported the sighting of a bright green light, tinged with red, racing across the skies - including an on-duty police officer.
Police Southern Communications Inspector Jed Oskam said there were at least four reported sightings of the light on Monday night.
He said a person in the southern Christchurch suburb of Woolston reported seeing a "green light up in sky moving very, very quickly" about 11.45pm.
"An on-duty officer near there also saw it about the same time," he said.
Mr Oskam said another sighting was reported south of Kaikoura five minutes later, and also in Wairarapa.
"Some people said it was red on the outside like a welding flash and they were all reporting it moved very quickly," he said.作者: AUGUSTUS 时间: 2013-6-25 11:09:13
