i turned switch both way , cos i wasn't sure which way is on, but still not heating up. is there another switch on the cylinder itself, or ......... can anyone help?

it needs time to warm up,depends which cylinder you use,normally old one takes more time ,and there should have a plug to connect the power,make sure the power is ON

你是白天和晚上的电...大部分HWS 是晚上加热.....不一定几点加热，你耳朵贴近罐如果通电可以听见有电流声，180L 全冷水加热到60度最少要2晚上......，如果有电2天后但是水不热很温说明你里面的电热丝坏了..........，第一次加热最好别用热水.....

看来兄弟什么都懂呀，是晚上的电表没有开通。花了我100大刀弄好了。

我是几天前才知道
电力公司是可以控制热水器的电闸的。
如果一个城市的用电量特别大的时候，或者说遇见极端天气需要控制电量的时候
电力公司可以暂时把热水器电源切断，以保证其他方面的电力供给
事后再恢复。

我不了解具体怎么操作
我家里的热水器的确有时候突然没热水了
事后又好了。
建议不要立即去调电源，开啊关啊都搞迷糊了
等一二天看看。
