请问想打听一下关于sick leave的问题。应该给什么部门打电话？。work and income? 感觉公司有点欺负人。想找个明白人问下究竟。

问我吧，一般问题我应该能回答你，去年跟公司因为这个问题去过劳工部了。如果你想找部门是劳工部，不过别去问律师了，有的律师也不是所有的都明白的。

是否能累积，取决于合同。很多公司允许累积病假，但有上限，比如十天，十五天不等。

事情是这个样子的。我在这个公司上班一年半拉。年初因为在之前的部门做得不开心就调到新的部门了。但是现在老板一直没有给我合同。我上周请了病假。老板说我没有病假工资。因为是casual contract 现在。可是我上网查了说是在同一个公司上班超过六个月就可以有病假。我现在不是很清楚。麻烦帮我解答我应该不应该有病假
在旧部门还有五天病假没有用呢。很郁闷

如果你转部门时没有从新签contract或variation of contract 的话，那你的sick leave 就subject to the conditions of your old contract.

不明白。能不能说详细点。因为我的旧contract也是一年的。现在到期了

Sick leave
Entitlements
For most employees, there is a minimum provision of five days’ paid sick leave a year after the first six months of continuous employment and an additional five days’ sick leave after each subsequent 12-month period. Exceptions are covered under “The effect of various work patterns”.

Sick leave can be used when an employee is sick or injured, or when the employee’s spouse or partner or a person who depends on the employee for care (such as a child or elderly parent) is sick or injured.

At any time when the employee does not have a sick leave entitlement (including during the first six months of employment), the employer and employee can agree to the employee anticipating the sick leave entitlement. In this case, any sick leave taken can be deducted from the next entitlement that arises.

continuous employment？我现在是continuous employment吗？我就是不明白这个问题。我在同一个公司上班一年半。最近换了部门。公司以现在是casual contact 说我没有任何sick leave

看公司规定，有的要求，有的不要求，但两天是一定要的

一般大部公司是一年有5天PAY SICK LEAVE, 不能累積, 超過5天的就NO PAY SICK LEAVE, 2天以上連著要DOCTOR CERTIFICATE

你是permanent 还是contract offer？如果是前者工作满1年就有带薪病假。如果是后者，很多公司都不给带薪病假的，因为劳工法没这个要求。
