An Auckland taxi driver was attacked and his cab stolen early this morning, before the car was crashed into another. Police said the taxi was stolen in the central city just after 2am
While police patrols were heading to the area to set up spikes they saw the vehicle collide with another car at the intersection with Ti Rakau Drive.
