I just rang the immigration call centre, they told me it is counted base on the approved date, not the entry date, so it is possible for one year stay.

我明白你的意思了，比如你是今天批的，从今天到2014年5月26号算1年，你可以在今天年底入境呆到5月26号满184天，然后从2014年5月27号开始再继续呆184天，这是没问题的

移民监的一年的开始是从你入境的那一天开始算的批准的日期是计算你入境的有效期
