标题: 同一个牙医，不同的待遇 [打印本页]

周六那天，在男朋友家吃饭，男朋友的爸爸觉得牙痛，想找个牙医看看。我就想起了前一阵子论坛里那位很火的牙医。于是开始翻帖子，找出了联系方式。因为上面有电话，所以男朋友直接发了信息过去，因为时间也不早了，所以就没打电话，只是发了信息。但是也是觉得时间太晚了，打扰人家不好意思，所以对方没回信息也是很能理解的。
后来同那位医生定了周三下午三点半在北岸看牙。结果周三下午，男友爸爸准时到了诊所，但是医生却迟到了20分钟。后来医生来了，看了一眼，就说三颗牙齿拔了吧。于是三颗牙齿就拔了，还订了下次的预约去洗牙。据男朋友爸爸说，从他躺下到医生离开，一共十五分钟。
我就觉得有点不可思议，从各位网友的推荐来看，那个医生是个十足的好医生，医术好，够耐心。再加上男朋友爸爸不会英文，所以理所当然去找那位牙医。
我牙齿也不好，从国内到国外，一直也没少见牙医，虽然在专业方面我不懂，但是我至少知道，如果可能的话，要尽量保住患者的牙齿，就算要拔最少得问个清楚或者拍个x光片吧？再简单的举个例子，如果能保住自己的手脚，哪怕活动不太方便，谁愿意截肢呢？
我自己本身的工作也是跟医生患者打交道，每次带我的患者去看牙医，就算是每年的例行检查，医生也会给拍个X光，看看清楚啊。我基本没三个月就会带五个患者去看牙医，做检查，最短的一次，看诊时间也是20分钟，何况这次男朋友爸爸还是拔了三颗牙。
作为牙医，把牙齿拔掉了，那下一步的治疗建议呢？就完了？就算是截肢也得问问假肢要什么价位的吧？
可能真的那牙医不错，对所有人都不错，但是我们真的运气不好，经历的事情跟别人说的完全不同……
就这一个ID，为了不被人肉，果断匿了。

最起码应该跟患者解释一下吧，总不能去了医院就任人摆布吧？只要牙疼就拔牙？那牙医也太好当了。好歹牙医在这边也算是专科医生，收费是不同于GP的。

Hi all,  I don't want to disclose your father condition in here,  but i told him already, all those teeth can't be saved because of Gum Disease and all loose already...... There are no options at all but extractions only,  in fact I have arranged next appointment for a full examinations and also cleaning....

Normal extraction is around 200-250,  due to 3 teeths need extractions, and also perido condition,  I think......... from memory.......  around 130 each tooth...... I already given your dad a good discount.  

Why don't take x rays?  If you go to those black dentist, you will be charged for x rays, for one x rays is 35 dollars each ( for us anyway, not sure how much other charge),  then u need to pay extra one hundred dollars for something i knew its a waste of money.... cos those teeth can't be saved at all..........   Therefore, I just did a good thing for ur dad...... save him those x rays money...... I could have done it for making profit, but i didn't.... cos i am good and i tried to look after all my patients... especially chinese patients.....

I thought i was doing good.... but maybe you thought i am bad......... I m sorry if i made u feel that way...... but there isn't much we can do with his teeth due to his gum condition and extracting a firm upright wisdom tooth only take me like 3 mins......  an impacted one only like 15 mins......  so 3 perio loose teeth, doesn't take me much time to do so....... I don't act ...... just do my best and try to get patient out of the chair asap cos no one enjoy sitting in dentist chair unnecessariliy..... so i just do my work, rebook him back for taking care of his perio problem for other teeth,  was trying to save him from paying unnecessary x rays, which other dentists always did.....

Hope you and eveyonelse understand........

But I am sorry if i upset u or ur dad in any way.......  I just finished work at remuera and rush to albany for afternoon session and running late..... I apologise for my delay..... sorry.....

I told ur dad, it was very loose,  and he is in pain,  best options (or i should say.... No options) was to extract the teeth,  I explained to him already..........

if i know the tooth is perio and super loose, i won't waste patient 35 dollars to take x rays.......  Just try to be good..... but now got bad comments.....

I told him already.........  and he agrees...... then we started....... Sorry if you feel I didn't do my job well, but i told him..... it can't be saved...... at all...... so have to be extracted....... I asked him if u just want one or other done..... he said if need to be done, lets get them all done..... thats why i took them out.....

If you are a patient, someone say take 3 teeth out for u,  will u let him?  OF cos not!  even i m dentist, do u think i can just take 3 teeth out by forcing him?   I did explain to ur dad.... and he was in pain,  and he understand too, cos he didn't go to dentist often and have bad gum disease...... so he knows.... and he expected........ he agreed,  then we took the teeth out........ there isn't any  任人摆布...... but why can't u understand?   To be honest...... I can only try to save your dad's teeth as much as i can do with my ability.... He is probably looking to lose few more teeth in the next 12 - 24 months time due to his gum problem...... Then don't blame me in the future if any further teeth need to come out, becos his condition is very bad........ 3 is hopeless,  and we are trying to save the rest if we can...........  ai......... but at least i clarify now........

the teeth were very loose....................  maybe u can take them out with ur fingers.......... so how long do u want me to act............ like 30 mins?     just to pretend it was hard and charge him 250 per tooth?

that is ok, when u be a doctor, u have to face a kind of people, sometimes get misunderstand, that is normal, do not need worry to much. i understand that. be happy, do a good job is the main thing.

我相信你，有些没救了的牙齿应该是有经验的医生一眼就能看出来的，有些病人拔了之后又后悔就埋怨医生没有尽力保，其实拍片等等折腾下来最后还是拔，花了那些钱仿佛就心安一般。这就是国内为什么有这个风气，病人一到医院不管什么病就先各种拍片b超CT各种化验做一遍，省得病人埋怨医生不尽心。

放心吧，有常识的人不会瞎埋怨的，部分人缺乏一定的知识就是这样的了，总是怀疑医生不尽心。当然话反过来说，不尽心的医生也的确是有，拖累了病人对哪个医生都不那么信任。

乱开价, u don't have to do the treatment,  we do free exam and we don't do x rays unnecessarily..... So what else do u want?  many people can come, sit and talk and if he doesn't want to do, or want to go back to china to do...... we don't charge a cent...... 态度那里都一样?????  Good luck..........    If you have never see me before, how can u say i 乱开价..............态度那里都一样的  without actually seen 2-3 different dentist YOURSELF and don't come to this conclusion..... You don't have to respect me,  But Please respect yourself and your words.....

看着牙医回帖挺好玩的。。。

说的也挺合情合理的。。。

我觉得ＬＺ可能有点误会吧对于牙医。。。

不拔都拔了。。。

而且如果拔了你爸爸是感觉不那么痛了　情况得到缓解了。。。

那这个医生也是做得对的。。。

别纠结于拔了几分钟拔了几只。。。

要注重于是否能减轻你爸爸的牙痛　是否能解决问题。。。

借帖问下牙医，我的孩子在dr max那里矫正，现在有x光 片，orthodontist 要求 surgically remove 4 unerupted third molar teeth。孩子会痛苦吗？可以一次全拔吗？怎么麻醉？多少钱？谢谢

but i will still go and help the 摔倒老人..........  I think we are here to help each other..... I helped once when i was travelling in Hang zhou..... an old man lying on the floor, no one even help...... me and my frd went and assist and sit him back on the chair, give him some dignity..... and help to call his family to pick him up......I think everyone from NZ will do the same!

我很欣赏你的态度，＋1分。

下次就跟病人说这个牙是肯定保不住了，问他是否同意直接拔除还是要拍片之后再决定，如果客人同意直接拔除就签个简单的同意书，这样就没什么争议了。

其实救一颗牙病人要交的钱更多，牙医如果想挣钱正应该不管三七二十一去保牙呢，总之我相信你。

Can,  we can do that.....    pain?  ok, manageable..... always some pain....... but most people can do it, we will give enough medicine for that......  Oral sedation, u just need to go chemist get medicine, to get iv sedation, we can get someone in to do that... around 500 dollars for IV sedation....   Surgically remove all 4 wisdom teeth?  without seeing x rays, i can't give u firm price, but maybe u can ask them to forward x rays to me jackylam@smiledental.co.nz

Jacky sounds like a decent dentist. if it was me, i wouldn't want to spend a second more in the dentist chair than i have to, and not pay for x ray if i dont have to. i think i'll go to him for my teeth too now

其实我觉得你做得没错的。。。

可能只是楼主一时半会还没有转过弯来吧。。。

毕竟她可能想你能和她爸爸说上半小时甚至更长时间 然后觉得这样比较负责任吧。。。

我反正感觉觉得楼主好像比较介意你看她爸爸牙时间比较短 然后牙齿拔的比较多吧。。。

个人感觉拉。。。

but understandable....... But i really thank him for sharing.... otherwise I would have never known the situation and lost a patient which i really want to look after.........

Communication is important...... even its seems like a bad start, but we can turn it into something good!

我相信你是一个好医生。。。

因为一个医生愿意为一个可能有误会的病人家属花上这么多时间解释的话。。。

至少是紧张这个病人。。。

其实医生最重要是能帮病人解决痛苦并且最好能根治病源。。。

如果不能根治 至少是在痛楚上能够得到缓解。。。

Jacky，看过你的短片之后更喜欢你了，你服务大众，服务低收入人群的理念让人钦佩。尤其是听你的员工说你humble的时候更印证了我对你的看法，支持你，我觉得有信仰的人的确不同。

虽然我不是很想归一任何的宗教，但是我欣赏基督教传播爱的教义，今后有什么义工的事情来论坛上说一声，我觉得有你的号召会有很多人响应的。

Cos i m just a human, and i am not perfect..... Its good to let people know I am not perfect... I can make some patients feel bad too....... But i sincerely apologize if i make u or dad upset..... Glory to God..... I was a bad kid at study..... but God has saved me..... and make me who i am now...... I wish one day u will know that God is Love and He loves us so much He die on the cross for us....even before u were born.....

I also want to show other biz boss,  we don't have to be calculative,  or like charge unnecessarily x rays or charge people 40 dollars even patient ring 23 hours before the appointment......etc...We can still be successful and not money orientated........

咱们不讨论宗教，因为宗教内部也有各种黑暗和伪善，但是我认为教义中对于传播爱，感化人的部分是宗教吸引信徒的主要原因，而身体力行的信徒是让人钦佩的，我愿意加入行善和修身的队伍中来，只是不愿意将功劳都归于耶稣，功劳其实源于人性中的善被唤醒。

depends if its deep or not.... If its not too deep, we can probably redo a filling.... white filling around 200 - 250....  I don't work sat... unless its emergency..... I will always come if its urgent... but if just fillings...  maybe make an appointment.... I have late nights thursday and friday till 8pm.

I only try to recall from memory.... Maybe i was wrong...... but I think its.... $133.33 per tooth.......
but there are always dentists outthere cheaper than me... with same attitude

因为男朋友的爸爸不懂英文，我带患者去的都是GREENLANE 那个医院的，虽然可以预约翻译，但是要排期太久了

我是LZ，我在这只是把我作为一个患者家属的感觉说出来，我并没有指着鼻子骂牙医。还有说我不敢出来说话的，我不是不敢，只是刚刚下班回家。

其实，看到这里我不得不承认，这个牙医有很好的personality，肯耐心的解释。
各位看官，你们角色互换的想一下，如果你们是患者，你们作何想法？
我不是一个喜欢争辩的人，只是因为在网上看大家说这个牙医这么好，那么好，很耐心，于是抱了很大的希望去看，这种心理落差，不是每一个人都能接受的。但是正所谓爱屋及乌，所以有些人说话偏激我也是可以理解的。
我没有那么多的时间去一一回复各位的发言。
Anyway, 这个牙医的personality要好过很多人。

正常的应当这样。但中国不是一个正常社会，每人都心存怀疑，总是怀疑对方的动机或者背后有什么阴谋。摔倒老人只是一个例子。但恰恰和你现在给病人怀疑你一样的心态。

上次回国拔了三颗智齿，当时的医生水平非常高，每次都是上了麻药后在等起效的过程中静坐看x光片观察牙根的位置，然后站起来眨眼的功夫就把智牙拔出来了，我感觉速度快是医术高的表现，要知道躺在手术椅上是非常煎熬的。当然，楼主可能认为老人被怠慢了，当初我爸来的时候看牙我是跟进去咨询清楚才放心让做手术的。

重度牙周炎三度松动的牙不用拍片就能确定无法保留，并且拔除也非常容易，有经验的医生打完麻药后真正去拔一颗重度牙周炎的患牙几秒钟就够了。国内不相信医生的风气太盛，如果你不信赖医生你可以选择考虑或找别人寻求其他治疗方案，不要治疗后找旧账，可以说像你这种心理的患者就是医疗纠纷潜在引起者！很多人就是这样，明明一分钟能搞定的事就认为医生不够认真，难道你要医生拿着钳子在你嘴里待上个十分钟你就舒坦了？不得不说这是一种愚昧...
