刚收到移民局给父母的邀请信，上面一个要EVIDENCE YOU CONFIRMATION YOU INTEND TO PRE-PURCHASE ESOL TUITION,那我怎样才能证明啊？是不是去语言学校去交语言费啊？

tick "none of above" then write beside "will pre-purchase the english tuition fee". the payment will be made when NZI is prepared to grant the Residence Visa. we just did it today.

in China or in New Zealand are both fine. we submiteed in New Zealand and it was really quick as saved a lot of time in the postage and getting a case officer. EOI submitted in Aug 2012, and my mum get the label placed on her passport yesterday!!!

请问一下POLICE CERTIFICATE OF COUNTRY OF CITIZENSHIP中文是叫国籍证明吗？这个在哪里办啊，警察局还是公证局？是跟那个无犯罪公证一个地方办吗？我都一头雾水，谢谢你的帮助！

中国的无犯罪纪录。在你的户籍所在地的派出所办理。派出所出带印章的原件，然后到公证处做翻译和公证。然后原件，翻译件和公证件一起上交。

是第四，五年每年184天，前三年无所谓。

是的，据我们的理解是这样的，如果子女担保老人的话，担保期是五年，期间需要完成英语学习，后两年需要完成移民监，5年后才能换永久回头签。我们也是上周才批下来准备打电话去移民局再确认一下。

现在新政策改成5年了吗？另外还有英语学习的要求吗？

通常给的都是一个resident visa，换永久的只需要2年的时间。

子女担保的父母移民是要5年了。英语学习无非就是交钱，每人1700多语言学习费， 5年以内完成学习。

English class needs to be finished within 2 years from the date your residence label placed on the passport. in summary, first two years to finish english class, third year nothing, last two years need to stay in New Zealand min half of the year.

Thanks so much for the above explanation. Didn't realize there is 2 years requirement for English lessons as well. I am still waiting on my parents' case. sigh
