有朋友新西兰的工签快到期了，可人还在中国，有急事过不来，请问：有谁知道这工签能不能在新西兰驻中国大使馆延期呢？谢谢！

Yes, that should be fine. Get your friend to contact the NZ embassy as soon as possible to avoid further issues with his visa.

这个还怎么延期啊，只能重新申请了。你可以从移民局的网站上查到北京移民局的电话，打个电话过去咨询。

Extending a work visa

If you wish to work longer than your work visa allows, you will need to apply for a further work visa, before your current one expires.

The application process is the same as if applying for a first work visa, which means that you will need to demonstrate you meet all of the requirements of the policy you are applying under.
