Dear all,
May I have some comments about the ACCA in accounting in NZ?
I've passed CFA, FRM and CAIA exams and had 7 year working experience in the investment field (mainly bond market).
Now I'm thinking to try to find a job in NZ, but have no idea about how to start.
I heard accounting and auditing are on the shortage list.
Please share your advice.
Best regards,

You should be a really smart guy, because I have heard that CFA is really hard to pass, and I am planning to attend, but no idea how to start......作者: 想个名字真头疼 时间: 2013-3-6 13:09:23

Thank you for the reply.
I think it is one thing to pass the exam and another thing to be qualified to work in the industry.
dont hung on the exams, dont hesitate if you wanna take it.
but it is more important to get practical experiences.
I wanna take ACCA becoz i am considering moving to NZ and finance/investment is not a very popular market to find a job.作者: ss_apple 时间: 2013-3-6 15:59:53
Impressive resume! Are you intending to apply for PR in NZ?
Even if you have accounting & auditing qualification from NZ, you won't be able to get PR.
Not really sure what you mean by you have no idea about how to start.
Do you mean how to get a job in NZ? Look on Trademe, seek and other job search websites. There is plenty of accounting jobs available. I think this is your best head start in NZ: GET A JOB.作者: gjmfl 时间: 2013-3-7 13:49:16
