2000年1月1日之后登记的车一年过一次WOF
2000年1月1日之前登记的车半年过一次WOF

是不是很开心。。。。。。。？？
（注：2014年7月前才会实施，哇哈哈哈。。。。）

Newer cars will only need to get warrants of fitness annually under new laws announced by the Government.

However, older cars, registered before 2000, will still face six-monthly WOFs, Associate Transport Minister Simon Bridges said today.

The Ministry of Transport estimates the changes will benefit motorists and businesses by $159 million a year through savings in inspection and compliance costs, justice and enforcement costs, and time spent by motorists getting their WOF.

The key changes:

An initial inspection for new cars, followed by annual inspections once vehicles are three years old
Annual inspections for vehicles three years and older and first registered from 2000
Six-monthly inspections for vehicles first registered before January 1, 2000
Information and education to increase people's awareness of regular vehicle maintenance
Extra police enforcement activities.

"The new regime also recognises that the quality of vehicles and their safety features and performance are improving over time," Mr Bridges said.

The changes to the WOF system are expected to be in place by July 2014 or earlier.

The existing regime required annual inspections of cars less than six years old and six-monthly inspections of older vehicles.

....我觉得wof还是要半年一检查,即使是2000年以后的车...wof又不贵,给车场查一查车子有什么问题,自己开的也安心,也放心. 很不解为什么要这么做..

其实本意上说，做wof是对安全有好处，但事实是。。。现在很多店，是借着wof这个旗帜，在坑客户。。。。你没有看到现在好多店，都有卖轮胎的了吗？。。。我看哦，好多旧车，要花很多钱修理，才能给过哦，其实其中的猫眼，店家太过分了。

如果是要自己開的安心

就算是一年一檢

你也可以半年拿去撿查一下呀~~~~

我觉得WOF肯定会加价，到时候其实是一样的我觉得，省不了多少

听一个英国伙计说英国前些年也是半年一次wof（大概：40英镑左右），后来改成一年一次，但价格直接涨到80到120英镑不等。希望这事儿别再我们这儿发生。
