Updates on Thur:

MeetingPoint: Haigh Access Rd Car park

Time:11am Sunday

Route:Haigh Access rd to Dacre Cottage by the beach (If possible will continue a bit along the coastal route)

Distance:4.8km one way

Estimatetime: 3-4hrs return

PS:Anyone is welcomed to join & it would be muddy, please wear your least favourite shoes.

Original Post:

Miss fish, asked me to post the info of Okura Bush up here. If anyone interested, we will have another exercise walk this Sunday to Okura before the big trip.

Please check out the Council website: http://www.doc.govt.nz/parks-and-recreation/tracks-and-walks/auckland/central-and-south-auckland/okura-bush-walkway/

Location: North shore (long bay), 25-30 mins drive from city.

it’s relatively a easy walk, but the full track is 8km one way(from Haigh Access Rd to Stillwater park), so a prepared lunch probably needed.But we do have an option to return on the half-way point ( Dacre Cottage by the beach,4.5km)

Attractions: Nice sea view & maybe some weird Plants & mushrooms?

So please express your interest in the QQ group or reply in this post. Hope we can organise some carpools if decided to go.

10-11am start from Haigh Access Rd , We are discussing on the details at the moment, better to organise some carpools. So welcome to join us.

I believe definitely we will reach 海边, but that is actually not the end of the walkway, it is only half way point.

I will be posting updates On Friday or Sat if decided. Or if you would like to join the discussion , you can join the QQ group 33075028 ( I am not the host though) or reply with any comments here.

你就知道吃哇。。一边喊着要瘦腿。。一边喊着 french cafee~~~

话说，我建议你们，如果是两辆车以上的人~~ 你们先把人放在N开头的路，然后两个人一起开车到另外一头~~
把一辆车停那边~~然后一辆车回来。。。这样，你们就可以走穿这个track ，不要折返。。。

虽然我没去过。。。但是看图也能看出来应该有条路即使是涨潮的时候也能走得通的啊。。。再说了。。都是public track了。。。应该不会如此脑残的，涨潮就不能走吧。。。。你说是不是啊~~

为了不遭致你的嘲笑，和再次被你侮辱。。。。特地花了宝贵的5分钟看了一下track 描述~~

If heading to Stillwater, you can follow the coastline at low tide, or take the overland track, climbing steeply above the coastal cliffs, with good views of Karepiro Bay and the Hauraki Gulf, before dropping back to the Weiti River estuary. From here the track follows the river, crossing private land to the Stillwater car park.

还给你highlight出来了。。不过话说。。。因为我不在。。。所以只是给出建议。。。最后咋样，sa yuo wihs~~~
