标题: 出生证明和无犯罪记录证明的翻译问题 [打印本页]

请问大家在申请PR的时候，移民局是不是要求提供出生证明（birth certificate) 和无犯罪记录证明（police certificate) 的原件和翻译件还有就是翻译件是不是必须在新西兰翻译的我没有看到有指定的翻译公司是不是任何翻译公司都有资格帮助翻译呢

想请问下你，基督城哪家翻译公司是移民局认可的呢？

诶头大啊  我看了下  Application for Residence Guide里面具体列出的翻译机构只有 the Translation Service of the New Zealand Department of Internal Affairs  那个在惠灵顿呢。。。。。。  不知道有没有人能够推荐比较可靠的翻译机构
里面有句话我不是很懂  “be on the official letterhead of the translation business"  英语不好悲催了。。。。

还有提到  “be certified as a correct translation made by a person familiar with both languages and competent in translation work" 是不是说  我的翻译件还必须要找一个有中英文翻译资格的人公证啊

其实移民局并没有严格授权的翻译公司。很多翻译都接受：

Translations may be prepared by:

language departments of secondary schools or universities
reputable people within the community who are known to translate documents accurately
embassies (if the translation is endorsed with the appropriate embassy seal)
any other recognised private or official translation service
the Translation Service of the Department of Internal Affairs.

只有申请citizenship的翻译和驾照的翻译才有一个完整的授权翻译公司列表。
