住宿方面，市中心和靠海那边的Marine Parade有很多motel和hotel可以选

I was staying at Archie's Bunker Backpackers at 14 Herschell Street and it was good value. But I checked that recently the rating is not good.

If you want to try something different, there was a napier prison but now turn to a backpacker hostel. super cool! I didnt stay in, but did a short guide trip around. It is literally in the city centra, close to the water front as well. Just google Napier Prison.
