I think given so many monthly period salary survey, and people noticed that IT people gets high pay, so I thought lets do a IT salary survey !

Note - this is a salary survey, so if you are on a contract rate, DO NOT vote. This is only for base salary (excluding bonus, and other goodies)

Lets be honest and see what we come up with.

Based on the survey, the following points can be noticed:

- 37% of the people in IT gets paid around 60 to 80k
- 86% are between 40 to 100k
- 14% are over 100k
- Highest base salary at 120k to 130k

Based on above, we can say that in general, IT people in average gets between 60 to 80k for most people.

And the best you can get in terms of base salary in NZ for IT workers seems to be capped at around 120 to 130k.

then you have to get some experience and then change job, should be aiming at least at 40k to 60k for a starter IT job.

我是做crm了，
已经考了2个微软crm2011的证书了
3年it经验，，，找不到工作。。。

这是起薪么？个人感觉IT高薪的应该不少，一般大企业的话IS算是核心部门吧，CONTRACTOR比FULL TIME高？个人猜测。。

建议下次分的详细点

software engineer, network engineer, Test analyst, support, etc..

MS CRM 只能算是个平台不能算个产品客户还要做大量二次开发好处是灵活坏处是implementation 太慢太贵不过MS的东西在纽西兰还是有一定市场的
oracle 的都已经有cloud based 了理论上最简单的implementation就是注个册就是live 了

implementation 太慢太贵，我觉得要看和什么样的产品比了。而且还要看不同行业。还有哪个公司做的implementation。太多因素了，但从一个产品来说还是太笼统了。

CRM 在这里可是火爆的一塌糊涂， Datacom, Intergen,HP 都在招人，现在到处都是CRM 的 Projects, 的确比较好用，CRM可以做成xRM,局限性当然有，不可能和bespoke 那样灵活，但总体开发成本还是要小很多。

CRM 也有online的，Sandbox solution 和onPremise isolated 几乎没区别，除了custom workflow activity, 还有只支持fetch xml SSRS.

现在天天用SAP, 就那个interface 和速度，感觉回到了８０年代

，SAP 估计是直接忽略usability的。

用的是r3? 界面确实够。。。速度应该不错吧，scalability 和 data concurrent 都是模范生啊。。。

同样一个客户用MS CRM可能只能40%out-of-the-box, 60%要customization 也就是二次开发但用其他产品可能能做到60%out-of-the-box 40%customization
我指的是这个也只能笼统的说 customization 多的可能可以比较灵活的满足业务要求但要比out-of-the-box 用时长耗费大量consulting cost 而且过多customization对日后产品升级维护都有深远影响
你说的条件当然都是对最后成品有很大影响但在这里我们也只能针对它最大的特点（如foody说的MS推的xRM,也就是它的灵活性）说点笼统的我做ERP方面多一点如果有人非要把XERO 做得比oracle 还贵那也是可能的
题外话现在越来越多的客户选择越少customization 越好甚至非常愿意改变原来的business process 来迎合系统

That's crap consulting and crap product then. Instead of business to drive IT , you are saying it is OK to let IT drive business.No wonder why MS crm is so popular then , just saying!

也不一定是谁drive 谁
很多产品都积累了很多它所针对的行业经验在里面一个单独企业也许原来的业务和流程未必是最优化的也许会更得益于借用产品里的业务逻辑和业务流程
如果是一个差的产品有很多技术上的局限性不能实现business 的需求而是要business 改变自己去迁就系统那就是你说的IT drive business

I dont care whether a consultant is CA or not ,I bet they wish it could deliver the same process as client originally required, the reason to change a process should be to improve it not because the project does not deliver and users have to live with it.I know it is quite common for ERP products, that's why I think it kind of suck, the same is true for SharePoint I am working on.There is no excuse to say it.Just say it sucks , you have to live with it. Do not find millions excuses. In this way , I think MS crm might be better (not expert) at least it give developers option to say , I can do exactly what you want but it might cost a bit more , or you can live with what is OOTB for less $.

CRM 有50k的project, 也有80m的project （Datacom 那个，南半球最大的CRM), 要看客户有多少钱。这个无论什么系统都一样，财大气粗的当然可以做各种Customization和integration，想怎么玩就怎么玩，没钱的那就只能将就out of box functions. SharePoint 也是一个道理。具体多少是out of box , 多少是customization, 完全是根据需求和budget 来走的。
