Application Developer & Support Analyst (Sth Auckland)
Auckland Council has recently undergone amalgamation and now has one of the largest Information Services (IS) teams in the country. This has presented a unique opportunity for a number of experienced professionals required to work on the immediate need of integrated alignments for council and future ongoing needs.
We are seeking an individual with at least 3 years experience in IS Applications Development and Support, Ideally applicants would have worked for large complex organizations, Developing and Supporting multiple applications and will be well suited to the pressures typical of these positions.
You will also be required to have the following skills & attributes:

Development experience in C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET code and SQL Objects and understanding of Data Model
Analytical approach and strong problem analysis and resolution approach skills
Initiative to follow up on issues requiring attention.
Work well autonomously and as part of a team
ITIL v3 certification and exposure to ITIL environment is preferred
Development of Crystal Reports, SQL Reports and Access Reports
Strong customer service approach
Ability to build and maintain good relationships with colleagues, customers and vendors.
The ability to be highly flexible and responsive in an ever-changing environment.
A tertiary qualification in computer science or other suitably related area.
At Least 3 year experience in IS Application support and development.

雖然薪水不會是同樣工作內最高的，但是工作壓力從此成為歷史名詞啊。。。畢竟你的工作不像是私人企業要給公司賺錢，公家單位只是提供一個服務。。。

很適合女性啊！

大部分人開始的時候都是90%-100%。。。

120%就是這份工作除了每年的通貨膨脹調整可以拿到的最高工資。。。。所以你可能做了20年，還是這個職位的話，也只能拿120%

工作很輕鬆的。。。凡事按照規定走就好，結果怎樣不用太在意，做事情的程序對不對最重要。

算了我還是在現在的公司好了，雖然做的事情超級煩
等我實在受不了了再說。。。

小时候做 c++, vc++, mfc, 高中开始做 object pascal, vcl, winapi, 大学做的是 java, j2ee, ejb, 快毕业和工作做的是 .net, jquery, telerik

没错，公司的底层架构是我开发的。。。底层架构衍生了 CRM, CMS, LBS, SNS.... 很难想象我走以后底层架构如何进行优化，application 层倒是没问题的，都ORM了，很简单的。

Asian Council?!! 哈哈 Council 有N多個部門但華人做來做去的不是 IT 工程就是會計就這幾個部門都是華人/亞洲人了又怎樣呢這些主要都是後勤的嗯對政策制定有什麼影響力呢？有沒有/幾個華人員工可以到有機會代表部門寫political report 上相關的 Committee 和 Councillors 開會打交道做presentation 解答他們問題甚至面對傳媒的詢問呢？除了花生所宣揚的所謂工作沒有太大壓力外這些才是政府和私人機構真正不同和精彩的地方啊呵呵好像很少見（雖然我也見過一兩個）畢竟華人的專業光譜就是不夠廣

還者應該推廣一下Council裡面的一些特別工種好像中區Graham St 環境衛生(Environmental Health - 管餐館衛生牌照那個部門) 部門那裡就有幾個華人當 Envrionmental Health Officers 看他們好像都挺熱鬧的
