一块地上有两个房子，都是cross lease title, 两个房子是一个owner, 有机会把两个房子变成freehold吗？
可以去那里咨询？

以前听中介说过，四万左右，二万交康嫂，二万是改水管的费用。他们都说cross lease就是当年分割时为省钱少花了这笔钱。不过很少有人改，因为不值，改成freehold最多也就增值2-3万左右。

You need to get your cross lease neighbour to agree such a move first.
Then, get a surveyor to help and apply for a Subdivision Consent from Council.
Stormwater and waste water requirements maybe an issue...

1.得到另外一屋主同意
2.测量师和工程师分割设计

PS:别听什么中介说几万的,具体每个都不一样从几万到十几万不等!

最屌的辦法就是把跟你cross的房子買下來就間接等於free hold了

如果两个房子都买下来，是不是可以申请变成freehold
然后这样就是全幅了，比如在6a或者4a zone，以后又有分割潜力，这样可行吗？

还是没整明白，好像是原则上可以，但是要花费的时间和精力，好像很不值，所以没有多少人真正去做

有的地区可以，有的地区不可以，最好还是打电话给city council问问，具体花多少钱，他们可以做估价的应该

Buy the whole and apply for spliting the title then you get most of benefits, otherwise, the neightboor would get 50% or more % benefit than you have.

But if you are super negociator, you might get 50 and 50 .....
