近期在一次酒精测试的时候超标超了78，上了庭认了罪，在我填写申请父母的时候我还没有案底，我就不知道现在对他们的申请有什么影响吗？我需要告诉他们我现在的情况吗？谢谢大家的回答！

did you take the blood test. or Did you blow 478 or your blood alcohol was 158
apparently you don't have a history of family violence or any offence of sexual nature. so you should be fine as an eligible sponser.
If you do get asked, if you blew 478 and didn't take the blood test, you can dispute it was just misjudgment at the time of drinking .  it was just one-off stupidity and didn't reflect on your character of integrity.
so don't worry too much.

but do bear in mind. for the rest of your life the criminal conviction will prevent you from being a  police officer or acquiring many government jobs. If you are a New Zealand citizen who wants to live or travel to Australia, America etc. you will not be able to use 3 month visa waiver program. you need to declare the drink driving history. it will be a pain in the ass.
