想请教大家一个问题，最近看了个房子，Lim 上提到Unlawful building work identified, 说garage 改成living area with bathroom and sanitary fitting added. 目前租给别人，city coucil 也知道情况。。但中介没多说，就说目前屋主一直都这样租给别人。

我想知道，这样的情况的房子有什么要注意的？谢谢。。

council应该已给屋主通知拆掉illegal work的。

这种问题银行不一定会批贷款。

Council emailed 屋主说

“The Council will not take action in relation to these outstanding matters but I will have to place a notification on the property file to the effect that we are aware. If you want this removed you will have obtain a Certificate of Acceptance. If you do wish to sell the property at a later date this information will be shown in a LIM report”

根据以上，是不是说Council 不会有什么举动或罚款之类的？
不知道提到的 Certificate of Acceptance 难不难申请

应该是有人举报了吧？很麻烦的，最好不要接手这烫手的山药。中介只会关心卖掉房子拿ｃｏｍｍｉｓｓｉｏｎ。你最好咨询一下你的买房律师。

听说是屋主改建后自己主动找的council , 原计划要把改建的地方合法化估计因为涉及的paperwork 多所以没有继续下去
