如题，我知道这次违约金基本交定了但是还是想向大家了解下ISP这样做是否合理／合法...

我大概是两年多前和目前的ISP签的合同，但是由于在不到一年前通过电话转换过一次Broadband Plan，所以在最近的一次交涉中被告知如果选择取消合同就要支付不足18月服务的违约金，理由是因为在换Plan的同时也意味着重新延长了违约期至18个月...

我之前的理解是违约期限是应该是从成为customer的第一天算起？我查阅了下ISP提供的terms and conditions似乎也没有相关的规定(也许是我没找到也有可能）...

不知有没有人能够指点下他们能这么做吗？感觉有点被误导的味道...

Did they make it clear at the time when you change your broadband plan, that you will be locked in a contract?

suggest that you demand account notes, call recordings from your ISP

Thanks for replying, I don't think they did and will ask for it.

If they didn't...is there a place I can log a complaint against them??
