9 a5 N6 Q8 J0 g& t* }Unfortunately, due to health reasons, his current owner needs to rehome him.& Q) j1 u9 e; ?6 U- W
Geoffrey is a 6yr old, German Shepherd/Rough Coated Collie mix originally from RSPCA; s) W: x7 d8 C- d- v4 f1 Y
He has been a member of our family since he was 8 weeks old and always the submissive part of a twosome. 3 q- I' q! O, k5 w3 m Originally with a Labrador and now with a corgi. - j+ l$ |8 w. B% A) X, Z9 J2 u He is a dog that requires leadership – from either another dog or his human friend. ; @! C$ T3 A A Geoffrey is not a brave dog. He does not like bangs (guns) or fireworks. 7 U6 j$ b, R7 Y- d He is a soft, loyal boy who welcomes praise.! K' S m8 S$ w
Geoffrey responds very well to routine and is easily controlled by voice. ) u; Q( T% |& V/ Z) w He does not stray from his master, is easy to take anywhere. - `3 O( N2 G* _# W; _. U He has a cod liver oil tablet and a garlic tab each morning.% i5 F0 Y3 d6 |. Y/ H- V9 e; m/ H2 V- \
He then sits and takes a biscuit very gently from me. : T9 G; _) E5 E# B7 p5 {9 W' v4 u$ S He has fantastic toilet habits and rarely makes a mess where he shouldn’t.3 e3 @6 c. @# y7 r% p
I would not even think about rehousing him if I was in good health. He is a great companion and very empathetic towards me. ( J e2 \; E+ [ k5 W If he has a shortfall at all, it would be that he is somewhat wary of some men, although once he knows them he is just fine., t6 L$ H' T0 u$ R
