早上开进公司的停车场都进不来，公司的路边停不了车，全是路障。这地方政府为了在３月３１号之前把修路的拨款全花了，不惜一切代价的到处修路，竟修些不用修的路，都在人行道上进行。早干嘛去了。中午和同事走路运动都要因此暂停。

While I think BZ Ah Sea maybe more qualified to comment on this (working in Auckland Transport) - may I also remind LZ that road digging is not necessarily 修路 or done by Council/AT's work, the road could be dug up for maintenance/installation purposes by the utilties companies such as Vector, Telecom, and Watercare, etc for their wide network of underground pipes/cables - they are NOT 修路 and have nothing to do with the local government at all.

Council financial year is 1 July to 30 June.

行人道上的活一般都是utilities company最多，或者是Auckland Council。
