1. Synflorix (PCV10) will be distributed in place of Prevenar (PCV7) on the National Immunisation Schedule in August/September 2011, after the extisting stock of Prevenar has been used.
Vaccine Key: DTaP: diphtheria, tetanus, acellular pertussis* - child; dTap: diphtheria, tetanus, acellular pertussis - adolescent/adult; HepB: hepatitis B; Hib: Haemophilus influenzae type b; HPV human papillomavirus; IPV: Inactivated polio vaccine; MMR: measles, mumps, rubella; PCV: pneumococcal; Td: tetanus, diphtheria – adult.
*Pertussis is commonly known as whooping cough.
