在写一个作业，有道题是要求outline the practical pointers，什么是practical pointers？指的是索引吗？

pointer means suggestion or instruction. so practical pointers = practical suggestions/instructions.

thanks lsd, it is an interior design course question. ask wood,concrete and porcelain tiles can be used as interior flooring materials. question is to outline the practical pointers to suggest where they could be used.

so as what you said, I will list my suggestions as practical pointers .
