Samples were randomly selected. It doesn't necessarily mean that 90k & above represent whole population in AKL. However, the trend was there're more and more rich people coming in AKL.

One reason could be the people from Southern Island moved to AKL since CHCH earthquake .

Open to discuss though.

From my work place, sorry, coz some of materials r confidential.

This was an investigation organized by AKL city council. About 2000 people chosen from different ages and occupations. Sample size was small in our opinion, but as I mentioned before, this was draft study. In NZ, above 2000 is big sample size. :(

I got surprised too. But dont forget there'r a lot of senior managers and directors sitting in the office too.

Also u can find $60K and aboves r not big proportions too which we should focus to improve and struggle to get up to!!!

I think it could be encouragement ....to some extent.

2k is gud, but was the data collected thru phone interview or face to face?

Among those age groups, 20-29, 30-39 and 40-49 years old people distribute most of this investigation in population :)

The masimum margin of erron on sample size of 2,067 is +/- 1.3% at the 95% confidence interval.

It doesn't seem right to me at all? Is this personal income or family income? It is quite different from the CFM database I have got?!? Is there any weighting applied on the data?

chart应该有百分比和注释，蛋糕本身只是个直观化的图示。即，盖住蛋糕用户也应该能从chart上获取数据

It doesn't seem very right to me neither, but as mentioned before this is city council's research on certain groups.. personal income. I did not join this project, so could not get too much detail . Sorry about that. Cheers.

As I mentioned before, my company hired a research company to conduct an on-board survey using self-completion methodology. Let me explain a little bit about this methodology. The research company designed surveys and send to the people by three ways: hand to the surveys by person, send emails, and phone interviews.

Don't just concentrate on 90K and above. We shoudl see how much space there for $65K and above.
