What is a PAC and why does the Contact Centre need it?

Your PAC (Personal Access Code) is an individual customer security code designed for your protection and is also a requirement of New Zealand’s privacy legislation. Your PAC is assigned to you when you join Airpoints. You can change it at any time by phoning the Air New Zealand Contact Centre on 0800 737 000. (You'll need to have your existing PAC and membership number ready). To obtain any Airpoints account information, your PAC must be quoted in order to gain access to your records and thereby protect your privacy.
