telecom is always looking for people (to check out what jobs are currently being advertised, check out www.telecom.co.nz/careers).
Do think about what you can bring to the company though (i.e. if you come to my interview, i want you to be able to tell me, why should i consider you and give you a chance).
Be specific about what type of role you are wanting to do too (Telco is a big company), it doesn't help when you yourself don't even know what type of role suits you or interest you and you just know you want to get a job in "communication".
