According to labor law, if u r a new employee, after 6 months continuous employment, then u r entitled to have 5 days sick leave. After that, then every 12 months, u have 5 days sick leave. 我是一进去10天,每干一年增加10天,最高可以加到260天business days(看来senior的一年完全可以不去上班了==)。刚才看了看,Where an employee is incapacitated by sickness or injury arising out of and in the course of employment, full salary may be paid at the discretion of the employer,不知道如果上班传染上流感之类的算不算。
另外三天以下不需要假条,三天以上may need medical certificate。Bereavement leave也是全薪,但长短要和上面商量。其他的还有什么education leave (全薪), short service leave, paid parental leave, employment relation leave等。
18.0 SICK LEAVE
18.1 On appointment an employee shall be entitled to 10 working days sick leave per annum.
On completion of each subsequent 12 months, they shall be entitled to a further 10
working days, with a maximum entitlement of 260 working days (pro rata for part time
staff).
