我是说与在kiwi公司里的中国同事，大家都有交流么？

私底下说汉语？还是英语？

当然了公开场合说英语无可厚非，可是我这边私底下都很少交流，大家好像很忌讳说汉语...

我看那些印度人无论什么场合都说母语....

当然说汉语了。

如果是工作性质并且有洋人在, 那就说英文。

如果是单独谈，就汉语。

公司没华人遇到华人就说汉语
如果就是两个人的conversion就汉语(即使有外国人在旁边) 如果有外国人需要参与到这个conversion那就只能英语

有些KIWI还是懂汉语的例如我问can you speak Chinese? 然后老外就说“我说的不好”(汉语哦)

说, 肯定说. 说得可狠了. 就算是谈公事, 也说中文..前提是只有我俩在讨论的情况下...

我部门只有我一个是华人，但我会经常跑到隔離部门和华人聊天，鬼佬同事看見我們說中文也见怪不怪了。

I think there is something to do with your company's cultures - btw, it is also true that some Chinese are quite weird at work and want to be as low profile as possible ....

Will definitely speak Chinese (when there is no other non Chinese around of course as a private talk) as there are many things you can only speak with your Chinese colleagues in Chinese (for example, criticising the kiwis ways of doing thing, etc), no matter he/she is of the same team with you or not.

P.S.: Sorry, cant type Chinese here as I m not able to in my office computer...

Don't you work at Council?

I'm sure you can type Chinese at work machine...just go to control panel ->key board...

Thanks Mr Sea - I have a look but no, I cant do it. It maybe due to the fact that my computer was brought from the old Auckland City Council and have been with me for ages (the system I m using is still Window XP~) while you may have a new computer/under a more recent Window system in AT? Well, thats OK as long as I can read Chinese na....haha

How's David Warburton treat you so far anyway?:)

公司文化是很微妙的
如果你和中国同事说中文并且顾及到别的KIWI了
无论什么公司都不会说什么

但是!!!
请注意这个但是
公司文化如果并不认同你的行为或者公司文化很严格的话
请绝对不要这么做或带有无所谓的态度

公司文化是客观存在的,请注意鉴别.洋人是非常装B和不坦白的.
虽然他们崇尚坦白开放,但在有些问题上并不是这样,

必须说中文，我觉得中国人在一起说英语很别扭吧

我猜我都是會說英語的
因為說英語在公開場合
至少不會讓別人覺得你在暗地你說他們
人家可能聽著難受

我公司裡的老外都是來自歐洲不同國家的
但他們見到自己鄉理時都是說英文啊
背地裡說啥話我就搞不懂喇!! 呵呵
