FREE PROGRAMME FOR NEW MIGRANTS

“Marae based cultural programme”

When :    Wednesday 29th  June 2011
Time :       8.30am -1.00pm

Where:    Waiwhetu Marae, 4 Puketapu Grove
Lower Hutt

This interactive workshop is aimed at people new to New Zealand and offers them a chance to learn about the local history, the Treaty of Waitangi, Maori language and culture.

Programme:

Powhiri (Official Maori welcome onto the Marae)
Local history and environment
Maori language and culture
Treaty of Waitangi

There will be an opportunity to ask questions at the end of the session.

Morning tea and lunch will be provided.

上周weltec高班学生去了，据说很好很强大，比去年有所进步，有教唱歌和毛利战舞。本周报名截止哈。
