Well you will have already heard that Kate Middleton will soon become Princess Kate! That's right...Clarence House announced today that Prince William and Kate Middleton are engaged. It took long enough to announce! Apparently they have been engaged since October! The couple will marry 29 this month.

But the biggest news today is that Prince William gave Kate Middleton his mother's engagement ring (pictured above)...an 18 carat sapphire surrounded by 14 diamonds. WOW!

Congrats to the happy couple...more news to come so stay tuned

　　距离威廉王子的大婚越来越近，但英国人突然感到纠结的是，如果准新娘凯特·米德尔顿当上王后，那么究竟要叫“凯特王后”，还是“凯瑟琳”王后？

　　英国媒体称，自从去年11月宣布与威廉王子订婚之后，她的未婚夫一直是叫她“凯瑟琳”。于4月29日在威斯敏斯特寺举行的婚宴烫金邀请函上，印的官方名字也是凯瑟琳。由于威廉王子改口叫凯萨琳，加上官方婚礼用品和瓷器上印的也是代表“凯瑟琳”的缩写C，引发这场是用“凯特”还是“凯瑟琳”称呼的辩论。王室专家们说，“凯瑟琳”听起来比较正式，比较适合未来王后。据悉，米德尔顿的闺中密友和家人都叫她“凯瑟琳”，因为那才是她的真名。英国王室官方网站说，她从小到大是用“凯瑟琳”这个名字，但私底下会用比较非正式的“凯特”。

　　然而，凯特本人或许还不太习惯这个改变。她认为自己本质上还是凯特。因此，多数英国媒体还是叫她“凯特”，预料未来也不会改变，但公众就不一样了，他们自然更喜欢叫她“凯瑟琳”。
