新西兰境内的Health Insurer不是那么的多，最大的10家据说占market share的98%......其中Southern Cross占最大，当然这是Southern Cross的人说的，所以不知道具体是不是真的。

一般公司都会给health insurance的benefit，不过具体哪个plan视公司大小，钱多钱少而定。

我们公司给买的是Southern Cross的VIP2 plan，我看了policy document，cover的很多是大病，我记得像GP visit是不cover的，不过有些Specialist visit会cover，主要是看自己的健康状况而定。

当然如果已经有健康问题的话，Health Insurance买的point不太大，因为一般pre-existing conditions会被exclude掉，当然赶上公司够钱，所有employees的pre-existing conditions都cover就最好赶快入，不然错过这村儿就没这店儿了。

i think the southern cross one is too expensive ...especially they have just marked up 10% in Mar...

paying for around $40 a week just for 80% of the claimables on medicles....

its a better ideal to get a cheap family doctor and cover that yourself ...
