老公读书，老婆是陪读工签，现在是第二年,中间没断过不知道在NZ生孩子是不是享受免费政策啊？如果不行，那什么时候才满足？
知道的回个话呗，造人计划要提早做的，嘻嘻

不太明白，你搜搜以前的帖子，有人问过。

真正的2年工签或PR才能免费吧！你的情况应该不行。

老公有pr, 老婆是open 工签，怀孕后医生帮你申请个号码，有了号码之后体检至生产全免。

医院受理你的生产申请是要注册的，如果不是pr是不能享受免费生产的。自己拿钱应该会挺多。

刚才问了卫生局
得到答复如下
“The eligibility criteria for work permit holders require work permit holders to be able to stay for a consecutive period of two years, including time already spent lawfully in New Zealand.

Your wife would be considered eligible for the full range of publicly funded health and disability services from the time she was issued a work permit which, when combined with time spent lawfully in New Zealand on any other immediately consecutive permit (ie with no gaps), would allow you to meet the 24 month minimum requirement.

我的理解是，只要现在手上的工作签证到期时间，加上之前已经在新西兰连续工签时间，加起来有48个月，就可以免费医疗啦，当然也就包括免费生孩子了，各位帮忙看看是不是这么理解。
当然，中间不能有gap

而且不管是什么工签应该都可以，只要是连续的，因为他没说work permit under partnership 不行
