企业家工签(EWV)从3月24日起，创业移民将取消长期商务签证，采用全新的‘企业家工作签证ＥＷＶ’，同时取消高额创业移民类别，将两类创业移民合并入同一个打分系统。投资额超过50万的创业移民依然享有优先权。

Congratulation! Mr cao has received his visitor visa on 6/11/2010. He is very happy about our service.
His partner is a New Zealand resident but her PR was obtained under partnership category no more than 5 years ago. He asked other company. They told him that his partner has to go back to China to live with him for 6 months before he can apply visitor visa to New Zealand. We told him that his partner didn't need to do so. The case was eventually successful with our effort. If you have similar cases, please do not hesitate to contact me.

"本人是SKYKIWI的高级站友，有许多国内外朋友都知道我是税务居民身份拿到的IRRV，并且只是呆了183天和另外一个41天。许多朋友询问我如何办理的，所以以下内容完全是为了帮助一些受到IRRV困惑的，又必须回国的朋友们所写的，因此认为我的文章是广告的请绕行。
2005年3月我办理的家庭团聚移民申请，其中2005年8月回国50天。我的移民批准是在2006年五月批准的，我在2006年8月回国发展至今。
在2006年五月批准我的申请后，我曾经问过许多许多大大小小，著名非著名的移民中介，把我的情况说了一下，都是告诉我无法办理税务居民IRRV。突然我有一天想通了，我这样的CASE必须是找一个既是移民中介也是会计师的机构来办理税务居民IRRV。因此我联系了中新移民留学的Richard WU吴先生，他明确告诉我完全可以办理。
实际上我直到最后拿到IRRV前都是怀疑的，但事实告诉我这样的担心是无需的。下面是我办理的能够回忆到的一些程序：
1． 我在拿到移民批准前已经呆够了183天了，批准前的日期也算。
2． 为了保险起见，我从批复到离开新西兰，又呆了60天（41天即可）。
3． 2007年1月我的夫人孩子也回国了。2007年5月我回到了新西兰，因为我的夫人孩子都已经回中国了，我在朋友家中呆了41天。
4． 2008年5月10日我再次回到新西兰，过了两天就是汶川地震，所以我记忆深刻。首先吴先生陪我到税务局办理了税务居民证明，随后马上到移民局换取了IRRV。

我朋友两口子技术移民快到2年了，两人每年都住够184天，女的是主申请在NZ，男的在国内。两年的签证即将到期，需要办理IRRV.请问男的可以把护照寄到NZ和主申请人一起办IRRV么? 或者男的可以直接在北京办么？有什么额外要求？？

"想要 知道 最少要在新西兰待 多久 才能在2年后 获得 永久回头签。
我知道正常情况下,184days each year ,In two years time.
不知道 有没有其他的情况。 因为本人希望在接下来的2年里 能尽量多的 在CHN / AUS 工作生活. 但同时 能确保2年后能有 永久回头签
我们的情况是：主申请人在NZ工作2年，副申请人 新西兰 PHD 毕业。 目前在 AUS 工作。 两人目前刚刚获得 RESIDENCE PERMIT。) 同时 在新西兰 拥有自己住的房子。不知道是否可以 利用 ‘Base Established in NZ' Policy?.
2年里 只要有一年住满 184就可以 在2年后申请 永久回头签？ ]: 或者有其他的办法 让我在这3年里 能尽量多的呆在海外，离开新西兰，而同时又能保证自己的永久回头签呢？

永久回头政策不会改变-中新移民留学
"Returning residents’ visas
Successful residence applicants will generally be granted a ‘resident visa’ with two years of ‘travel conditions’. This will allow: travel to New Zealand (if the holder is offshore); indefinite stay in New Zealand; and multiple re-entry to New Zealand within the validity of the resident visa travel conditions. The term ‘returning resident’s visa’ (RRV) will no longer be used, however, current RRV holders do not need to do anything other than follow the conditions of their current visa or permit.
‘Permanent resident visas’ will replace indefinite RRVs and will allow the indefinite right to enter New Zealand.
The requirements to progress from a ‘resident visa’ to a ‘permanent resident visa’ will be similar to the current requirements to progress from a ‘non-indefinite RRV’ to an ‘indefinite RRV’.
People who hold ‘residence visas’, ‘residence permits’ and ‘non-indefinite RRVs’ on 29 November 2010 will automatically be deemed to hold ‘resident visas’ with the appropriate travel conditions.
People who hold ‘indefinite RRVs’ on 29 November 2010 will automatically be deemed to hold ‘permanent resident visas’ with indefinite rights to enter New Zealand. "

你担保你父母的条件是你取得PR三年并且每年住满184天，而不是拿永久回头签后三年。请你注意看你的pr贴纸是什么时候的。 如果你是2008年5月拿的pr, 那你就是一定要到明年五月才够条件，不能提前。

经过一个半月等待，申请父母的三年签证批下来了，可是移民局说因为身体原因只批了2年，请问这种情况常见吗？这种情况，移民局到底是认为我父亲身体是否合格？现在同时给他们在办理移民，这会影响将来的审批吗？

What is an interim visa?
An interim visa allows a foreign national to remain in New Zealand lawfully, while they have a new temporary visa application processed.
When will the interim visa system come into effect?
7 February 2011.
Can I apply for an interim visa?
No. No one has the right to apply for an interim visa. If you hold a temporary visa and have applied for another temporary visa (of certain types), we will make an assessment for an interim visa shortly before the expiry of your current visa.
Why can’t I just be granted the visa I applied for?
In order to grant a temporary visa, Immigration New Zealand (INZ) needs to assess a wide range of criteria. This can sometimes take longer than the time left before the visa expires.
Is there a fee charged for an interim visa?
No. There is no fee charged for interim visas.
Who is eligible for an interim visa?
People may be assessed for an interim visa if they:
* are in New Zealand
* hold a temporary visa, and
* have applied for another temporary visa that is accepted for processing by INZ. The types of temporary visa applications that will qualify for an interim visa assessment are work, student, visitor, and military, diplomatic, consular or official visas.
Who is not eligible for an interim visa?
Applicants for the following will not be eligible for an interim visa:
* limited visas
* transit visas
* group visas or group transit visas
* holders of temporary visas applying for variations of conditions
* people being considered under section 61 of the Immigration Act 2009 (section 61 relates to people who are in New Zealand unlawfully).
I do not hold a valid visa, can I be granted an interim visa?
No. If you do not hold a valid temporary visa, you will not be eligible for an interim visa. You may be in New Zealand unlawfully. If you are unlawful then you will need to leave New Zealand immediately.
I sent in a temporary visa application and it was not accepted for processing by INZ, will I be eligible for an interim visa?
No. In order to be assessed for an interim visa, a temporary visa application must have been accepted for processing by INZ. People whose applications are returned without being assessed will not be eligible for an interim visa.
How long are interim visas valid for?
Interim visas are valid for six months from the day after the person’s previous temporary entry class visa expired, or until a decision is made on their temporary visa application, or until they depart from New Zealand – whichever is earlier.
What conditions will apply to interim visas?
The conditions of an interim visa depend on the type of visa the person held previously and the type of visa they are applying for. The table below shows the different combinations:

Note: Open work conditions are conditions that allow work in any occupation, for any employer, in any location in New Zealand.
Open work visas include several types of applications: asylum seeker, working holiday maker, graduate job search, partnership, partner of a worker, partner of a student, and victim of domestic violence.
Open student conditions are conditions that allow study in any course, at any educational institute, in any location in New Zealand.
I hold a work visa and am applying for another work visa. Will I be able to continue working if I am granted an interim visa?
This depends on the visa you hold and the visa you are applying for. Please refer to the table above for more information.
I have a variation of conditions on my current visa - would this variation of conditions apply to my interim visa?
It depends on the ordinary conditions that would be granted on your interim visa, the type of visa you hold and the type of visa you apply for. Any variation of conditions you hold on your current temporary visa may apply to your interim visa if you are applying for a visa of the same type of visa as the one you currently hold. However, generally in cases where an interim visa is granted with visitor conditions, any variation of conditions will not apply to the interim visa.
For example, if you hold a student visa with a variation of conditions allowing you to work 20 hours per week, and you apply for another student visa, any interim visa granted will have student conditions that allow you to work 20 hours per week.
Or, if you hold a work visa for a specific employer with a variation of conditions to study part time, and you apply for a work visa to work for a different employer from the one you are working for, any interim visa granted will have visitor conditions and your variation of conditions will not apply. You will not be able to continue studying or working on your interim visa.
Will I be able to travel on an interim visa?
No. Interim visas do not include travel conditions. This means that if you travel outside New Zealand while on an interim visa, your interim visa will automatically expire.
Can I apply to have travel conditions put on my interim visa?
No. No one can apply for travel conditions on their interim visa.
How will I be told whether or not I have been granted an interim visa?
If you are assessed for an interim visa then you will be sent an email or a letter telling you whether or not you have been granted an interim. If you are granted an interim visa then this email or letter will also detail the conditions of the interim visa. Note that no visa label will be placed in your passport.
When will I be told whether I have been granted an interim visa?
You will be sent an email or letter informing you of the outcome of an interim visa assessment close to the date your previous temporary visa expires.
Can I apply for another visa while I hold an interim visa?
No. If you hold an interim visa, you may not make another application for a visa. However, the application for a temporary visa you have already made will be processed as usual.
Can I get a second interim visa if this interim visa expires before a decision is made on my application?
No. If you are granted an interim visa while awaiting the outcome of your temporary visa application and no decision is made on that application by the time the interim visa expires (after six months), you will not be granted a second interim visa for the same application. In such a case, you will be considered unlawful and will need to make plans to leave New Zealand immediately.
If I am not granted an interim visa, will that decision affect my temporary visa application?
No. A decision not to grant an interim visa does not affect a person’s temporary visa application. The application will be processed as usual.
Can I appeal against a decision not to grant an interim visa?
No. There is no right of appeal against any interim visa decision.

今天我电话INLAND REVENUE预约了，准备申请税务居民的章，然后递交移民局。
申请的条件是ENDURING RELATIONSHIP WITH新西兰，不知道能否批准？
