I am a PhD student (PhD in software engineering, software processimprovement ) at AUT. I currenctly have some extra free time andtherefore I am looking for a part time software development job. I would also consider full-time if there is a chance and I will change my visa in this case. I am an quite expert and have many years industry programmingexperiences ( in JAVA, PERL, C++, DELPHI language and web applicationdevelopment). I have financial problem and have been looking for a job for a long time. However, it seems pretty difficult to get a job here. I would appreciate anyone who could help me. Getting a part-time job as a developer is hard even for an experienced dev.If you can only work as part-time I suggest you to look for work as tutor , marker or even lecturer in the university.

phd一般在学校不都是有工作么? 或者教授介绍的么?....

LZ还是在学校教书吧。哈哈。。。
要不干脆就别把PhD放在CV里。。。以免招聘的看了直接就Pass了。。

感觉现在IT的工作机会还是蛮多的，我有一年没发CV了，这两个月收到好几个中介电话问是不是available to market.

机会多吗？为什么我发了一些申请在SEEK.CO.NZ里面没有回复呢？在我的COVER LETTER 和 CV里面，我并没有写我是PHD。一样没有机会面试。我真的很想弄清这到底是为什么。

Thank you very much for your suggestion. However, I am interested in software development as I have many years experiences. I may be able to get a tutor, marker or teaching role at AUT. However, I have to wait until next semester.

关键是工作经验吧。。。如果有个一两年的应该很容易有面试。
