大律师您好，一个月前我老公出了车祸，他被后面车撞，然后他又撞到前面车。后来接到前面车保险公司STATE的电话，我们把家里的地址告诉对方，然后收到第一封信，是STATE公司的信，要求填表声明，但没写交表期限。上周五收到第二封信，AIG公司（追数公司？）的信，我们看到信是9月23日写的，要求我们在7天之内，也就是9月30日前赔偿一千多元修车费用。我们没买车保险，上周六我们才寄出表格以及以下的声明以及复印了警察给的卡一起寄了出去。

周一，我们发email给STATE和AIG公司，再次把上述内容发给他们，而且还加上一个疑问：车祸时，我老公清楚记得前面的车是Ford，而且警察的记录卡上记录的也是Ford，但前后两封对方来信中提到的车都是Toyota，车牌号是一致的，但车的型号不一致，很奇怪。
这两天，一直没有收到对方的联络，明天就到30号了。心里非常着急不安。请问大律师：
当时在医院时我老公曾经问警察，警察明确说是我老公后面车的错，我老公的车和他前面的车都应该追我老公后面的车索赔。那么，现在我们已经发了声明信，前面的车还能够向我们索赔吗？
另外，前面车型号不一致，这是否表示对方弄虚作假？
我们现在应该怎么办？对方会把我们告上法庭吗？还从未上过法庭呢。
