I just received this Canon 50D yesterday. When I connected it to the computer, the camera was frozen and a "ERR 80" message showing on the screen? What the hell is the f-u-c-king Error message? Maybe it's better to get yourself a memory card ; )
Do some googling you will find Err 80 is quite common...some claimed that it happened because they try to take photos while the camera was being connected to the computer.....some speculated it might be their computer's USB port problem.
