Apply for a TRV at the Sydney Office
AN APPLICATION FOR A TEMPORARY RESIDENT VISA MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
A completed application form - PDF * (216 KB).
A completed Supplementary Family Information Sheet - PDF * (164 KB);
A valid passport for each person that is applying;
Evidence of current, valid, immigration status in your passport for one of the following countries : Australia, New Zealand, Fiji Islands, Papua New Guinea (or countries in the South Pacific Ocean);
Two photographs for each person that is applying;
Proof of sufficient funds (refer to FAQ for more information);
Evidence of ties and establishment in your home country or country of permanent residence (see FAQ for more information);
A pay slip and letter of leave from your current employment (if applicable) ;
Transcripts and proof of current enrolment for your study program (if applicable);
Proposed travel itinerary to and from Canada;
If you wish to visit family, friends or professional contacts in Canada, they should provide a letter of invitation explaining the purpose and duration of your visit.
Correct fee for TRV processing (see fee schedule for methods of payment). The application will not be processed unless the correct fee is attached. This fee will NOT be refunded, regardless of the outcome of the application.
