if you are only renting by rooms, you don't need to pay tax as long as the rent is below $200 something per week (cant remember the exact, but most of us don't rent that high) per person. if rent the whole house, it depends on if your rent can cover the interest of mortgage.

depends if the rent can covers the mortage or not.
If the rent is collected though agent, which is below
the mortage value, then you donot need to pay tax.
If its over, you have to do so but also you can get
tax refund if its other expenses are higher than what
you payfor.

如果不申报，被ird查，那罚金就很高了~
expenses 包括地税，维修费，贷款利息，管理费....

你出租房也算是1种income的吧~和你的国籍是没关系的吧~有income就肯定要给税的~报不报去IRD就看你自己的啦~现在现金的话一般都没什么问题的~
