Annual Account FeeFor Airpoints™ members who have not flown on a paid Air New Zealand flight for 12 months, an annual account fee of $30 will be charged. This fee will be reduced to $20 if you choose not to receive posted statements. To qualify for the reduced annual account fee, you must update your communication preferences before paying the fee. To make this change, simply login to myairnz (your new-look personal homepage) and go to the Communication Options page under myProfile. Or, if you've not logged in before, register now.
Ways to Avoid the Annual Account FeeTo avoid paying the annual account fee, always provide your Airpoints membership number when booking an Air New Zealand flight, even on our Smart Saver fares. Although our lowest fares won't earn you Airpoints Dollars, they will exempt you from the annual account fee, and they will earn you Status Points. If you have flown on an Air New Zealand ticketed and operated flight in the last 6 months but forgot to give us your Airpoints details, you can use the Claim Missing Airpoints Dollars form to let us know.
