some gas companies offer gas bottles for houses on the hills where pipe doesn't go. basically you hire their bottles and they'll replace them when empty. no need for pipe connections. might be a cheaper option to go for shot term. but recommend pipe if it's for your own house, for long term, and gas cooking & heating will increase your house's value.
