You miss the most important benefit "Free lunch"?
Well,it is only job description and hell I have not seen anything written in com+.However , we do occasionally hack into the server and do some doggy stuff.Like write isapi filter using c++ for IIS.
It is quite different from doing traditional business app.I am working on Sql server project using SMO.Essentially creating web-based management studio for sql server.

快2年了吧，不过其中也做过open source的东西。
虽然时间不长，但做过很多有意思的东西，有难度的也不少。
说真的，对于intermedia level的来说，
做三年跟做两年不一定真有那么大区别如果只是在做同一类的东西的话，
如果是不同的project，几个月都是有很大区别的。
不过我现在挺开心的，薪水，公司环境，工作性质都比较理想，回复纯帮顶

It took me a while before I am up-to-speed.Coz we are doing control panel for the data center and manage all the servers.The domain knowledge is IT Pro, you need to have thorough understanding of AD,Network knowledge as well as programming skills and learn how to manage all the servers ,like Exchange 2010,Sharepoint 2010,CRM 4.0 etc.It is good learning experience.
I am actually working on MCITP windows server 2008.

To be honest , even Microsoft have to turn around and acknowledge the importance of VB.NET.Because a lot of the apps are written well before C# and migrate from vb6 to vb.net is not uncommon.I have worked in C# for 3 years and vb.net for 5 months ,with the help of resharper , I feel no differences.

The reason people hate vb are because most of brownfield development are using vb due to the reason stated above and most of greenfield development are using C#.Sooner or later there is going to be a new language and people will have the same feelings for C# as for vb.net today.

But this is my current thought and 5 months ago.I 200% agree with you guys.But work is work and I got free lunch by switching from c# to vb , can not complain too much.
