The most recent selection of Expressions of Interest (EOI) under the Skilled Migrant Category took place at approximately 1.00pm NZ time on Wednesday, 21 April 2010.

The following EOIs were selected:

All those at or above 140 points = 385 EOIs (842 registrants).
All those with a job or job offer claiming total points between 100 and 135 points = 135 EOIs (315 registrants).
All those claiming 15 points for work experience in an area of absolute skill shortage and with a points total between 130 and 135 points = 27 EOIs (79 registrants).

As a result, 547 EOIs representing 1236 people were selected and will now undergo preliminary verification to determine if an invitation to apply for residency will be issued.

The next selection will take place in a fortnight.
