This auction is for a Faulty but repaired Sony Laptop bought from Noel Leeming (Te rapa, Hamilton) September 2009. Have bought this Sony laptop for about 8 month till it had to go for the first warranty early this year, Still have 3 - 4 month warranty left. However, the laptop will be sold as is and where is.
Selling Reason:
1. (First Repair)
Early 2010 the Sony laptop broke down and I have take it back to Leeming (Te rapa, Hamilton) to show them the problem for warranty repair and the next day they have ring me up saying that the laptop is repaired and there is nothing wrong with it but as soon as I got home and open the laptop the screen flashes again.

2. (Second Repair)
So, I went back to Leeming (Te rapa, Hamilton) the next day again then they realizes it’s a hardware problem and then told me that they have to sent it to SONY service station for repair. But it would be faster if I can take it to Next electronics in Hamilton because they can send the laptop to SONY for me, so then I did it on my own.

- Also I’m sure other computer stores don’t require customers to do that and they can get it sorted ASAP them self. What a “SELF SERVICE”.

3. (Third Repair)
However, got the laptop back from Sony and saying it’s repaired but the problem still arise once per 2 weeks for a month till it totally broke down again (30/03/2010). So I had to take it back to Leeming (Te rapa, Hamilton) again. But I asked them for replacement of the laptop as it has been very unreliable but they claim that it’s Sony’s decision for repair or replace. However I don’t know how they have requested the replacement for me but I have ring up Sony and provided the number Leeming (Te rapa, Hamilton) gave me but they couldn’t find anything on their data base.
Furthermore, Leeming (Te rapa, Hamilton) ring me up after 2 weeks from the day I gave the laptop to them and told me that the laptop is fixed and it on its way back and told me that I should be able to pick it up next week. because I’m a 9am-5:30pm regular working guy I don’t have time for all this so I have ask them to post it to me because I really don’t want to waste anymore time and money of this faulty laptop! But ask me back “How would you like to pay for the courier?.” This got me thinking is this your best customer service? And where is the replacement laptop I ask for? So I got a bit louder to ask him the questions but he reply me back a threat saying he will not be talk to me if I don’t trust him and he hangs up the phone on me!.

However, I’m feed up with the back and forward repairs as it has been thought 3 repairs already and the product bought from Noel Leeming did not give me any joy but more or less TROUBLE.
