电子通信这个专业好么..毕业能直接申请PR么...

这是移民局网站对telecommunications专业的要求。工作还是需要的。
Bachelor Degree (Level 7) qualification majoring in electronics, computer science or telecommunications AND three years of work experience with at least 12 months relevant work experience in the past 18 months

按照移民局长期短缺条例, telecommunications专业不需要工作可以直接申请移民 , 因为这个是短缺专业.

具体要求是: Bachelor Degree (Level 7) qualification majoring in electronics, computer science or telecommunications
（不熟悉移民局 Long Term Skill Shortage List 的请仔细对照）

至于有人说要有工作完全是不对的

上面的这个要求是给申请essential skills work permit 用的而不是申请移民用的。
