老师没给model answer,头疼啊,完全不知道怎么着手...各位前辈们能帮帮忙吗?
1. a 25 years old investor plans to retire at 60. she wants secure 25,000 yearly income till she is 80. She has a pension plan that guarantees 5%. How much should she contribute? Assume that all payments are at the end of each year
2. your opportunity cost of funds is 12%. Would you finance a $20,000 car at 6% a year for two years (monthly payments) or would you take a $1500 rebate?

1是用annuity...payment - 25000, discount rate - 5%, period - 20 years use the annuity ordinary to calculate...so...311555.26 ---she need to contribute when she's 60...

哦, 补充一下, 如果1还要求那个...她从25-60岁她要每年invest多少钱才可以到311555.26 的话, 那就用annuity-FV的formula...求CF..so...3449.5 is the payment she need to contribute per year...time period need to change to 35..作者: 佦尐綠 时间: 2010-4-9 22:37:44
第二题好像就是是算出cost of fund 然后discount 到present value 然后和1500对比。
