如题，我是紧缺学历 100 分，2月初递交申请后，我的申请资料被转交到新西兰的劳工部了（department of Labor），劳工部负责我的这份案子的人发邮件告诉我要等一些 third party information，这是什么意思呢？

移民不是都由移民局处理的吗？怎么会转到劳工部了呢？请问有谁知到？而且直到现在都没有任何消息，是怎么一回事呢？邮过来人或者高手能否解答一下？感激不尽！

移民局就是劳工部下面的一个部门

of course, officers are all working in the department of labour. Checking for third part information sometimes takes long time, like 6 months, maybe just 1 or 3 months. It is security check, they are checking if you are spy here. Good luck.

意思就是你有VO了 VO是属于劳工部

means that you might be not paying tax or something..they might need to check your tax ,not too sure..but my friend also got the same case 2 years ago..good luck
